Why does the game between [StS] and [sup] NOT show what actually happened?

I was actually observing these Tournament matches, and I noticed such bad play on either team. At a certain point, [sup] even send their flagger back (Their flag was already at flagstand) to "defend" against the split. However, the INTIRE [StS] team was at flagstand...
Small stuff like this made me thinking, WHAT is going on here?

Then I looked at the flagger, and something struck me, his Pious Haste lasted 3 seconds and every time it ended, you could see a small "jump" in his movement!

So this made me think, the game was 5 days old, meaning it COULD have been before the Pious Haste update. Meaning when they DID actually play the match, it lasted 5 seconds.

So, there is one thing going on here:

-> Either 2 top guilds sucked so much, it's not even funny, and I feel sad GvG has this far that teams send their flagger back to protect their base when the INTIRE enemy team is at flag stand. (The rit was actually HEALING stuff in the base awell, they were at full health tough)

OR

-> An observed match is NOT a recording, but rather a "recreation", using NPC's to replace the "Real Player" actions... This sems the most logical outcome, because this simply explains why so many "odd" stuff happens... The intire team collapses, yet they don't fall back. Mayby because in the REAL match, they didn't collapse! The reason why they did on observe would be because of the different skill updates, and Dmg modifications... The observe would still try and recreate the match as it "recorded" every move made by the players, however the outcome wouldn't be the same seeing the skills were altered...

So, anyone has any clue what is going on? (It actually happened before, a few months ago, where Observe would "live its own life" and ALOT of guilds complained the observer showing "retarded" things, thus making some players look bad...

Mmm it's not just me then =P

Yeah on many occasions i've seen observer mode bug to grinding halt, whole teams would be standing fighting at the flagstand while the other team would be at their own base and stuff like that, hell even obs'ing my own guilds GvG's there would be massive massive differences between obs and what actually happened.

I really do hope that ANET can fix it sometime soon because it's not just one of those annoying bugs or whatever that pops up every now and then, but it actually renders the whole of observer mode pretty much useless when it happens and then the rest of the time your left wondering if this is what really happened or whether a team is just playing incredibly badly. It just ruins the whole credibility of the mode =(
